Geometric Animal

The goal of this exercise is to put into practice what we have learnt about

TANGENTS.

You will have to design an animal using lines and circumferences tangent to each other. Look at these examples:

As you have seen in some of the images showed above the assignment will have two parts:

1st.- To design the shape of an animal using your ruler, T-set square and compass to define the geometry (regular or drawing sheet of paper) and

2nd.- To colour it as creatively as you can (free technique on a drawing paper).

ASSESSMENT CRITERIA

1st.- Name, last name and group.

2nd.- Draw a frame (1 cm. distance).

3rd.- Accuracy at drawing the Geometric Shape (using tangents).

4th.- Complexity of the proposal.

5th.- Consider Composition and Colour (along with Texture and Volume)

6th.- Work on the background according to the main shape.

7th.- Neatness.

8th.- Self Assessment.
